Samuels the Playmaker

       Marlon Samuels the right-hand West Indies batsman and right arm off break bowler is a great player. He is a great batsman and bowler as well as a superb fielder. He has been picked up for the West indies side for the World Cup. He is a play maker for the team. He might not have great records or big tons but is a superb player for the team. He can be aggressive whenneeded and can also play a back role in batting if the batsman at other end is playing well. He has the ability to change gears that is increase the speed of scoring the runs from slow to great speed. He is the player and allrounder for West Indies to look out for.

       Marlon Samuels has been playing for West Indies at a young age and scored his first ton in 2002 for his team. He scored his 8th ton today against Zimbabwe.
This might be surprising but he plays a role of guiding the innings of the team and doesn't care about records or tons. He is a very selfless person. Though he had been out of form but was picked in the squad as one of the most experienced in absence of Dwayne Bravo and Kiron Pollard the two biggies of West Indies Cricket.
         

        In the match against Zimbabwe today he batted sensibly and superbly. He did not take risk and batted calmly complimenting his partner Chris Gayle superbly. He played the ball for big shots on its merit and changed the strike regularly and gave great support to Gayle and took great pressure of the big man who was short of runs. He helped him find his form and also his individual form and have become great aspects of the team. He did not care for his century and kept giving strike to the big man as he was hitting the ball very well. He also got the fruits of his hard work and scored a well placed and balanced century any anchored the innings around the big man who was on fire. He did not take the odd risk and scored boundaries and sixes without any risk. He is a playmaker for his team who can shape the innings from any point to a great position.
Having a player like him in team is a great plus point to the West Indies team. He has to play such roles for his team in the rest of the matched of the World Cup. He is immensely talented and has great power in his biceps to hit the ball a long way. His technique is so good that he hardly need to use his power. He is therefore called the playmaker of the team.
