Leonardo Jardim's side visit the Emirates for the - Leonardo Jardim's side visit the Emirates for the first leg of round of 16-Champions League, its the Arsene Wenger who will be facing his former side.

" My spell as Monaco manager was at the start of my career and I didn't know how long I'd be in the job for, or where I would be. It was my first chance to be at a big club. I was very young and you're always grateful for that. Finally, what I take from our recent performances is that we can be confident tonight because we have won our games and have the right commitment and the right spirit in the side to be confident. But of course you know they are hard-fought games in the Champions League and what we need is to be ready mentally to prepare ourselves to go as far as we can." - Arsene Wenger.
This is the first time that tonight's opponent (Arsenal and Monaco) have met in a competitive match.
Francis Coquelin will be expected to make his debut in Champions League for Gunners this season. The French defensive mid-fielder  who loves Marseille  follows League-1 closely being French representative, knows the opponent Monaco well.

When Asked about Berbatov, Arsene Wenger said:"Is he on the decline? I am not sure. He is a terrific striker. He is 34 and still playing at the top level and not many players can do that.He has been able to stay at the top because he has got such great technique. He can fall back on his technical work when he runs out of puff. He's not as fit as he was ten years ago but he makes up for that with his intelligence and his football brain."

Abou Diaby, Mathieu Debuchy, Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta are out for this match as long-term injury issues, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is unlikely to be rushed back into the side from injuries.Ospina is doubetd with back problem as Szczesny could return on goal for Gunners.
