Preview : Stoke City vs Leicester City


Stoke City's quest for victory continues as they host Leicester City on Saturday, which happens to be the team that is currently at the second spot in the league table. The Potters are among the bottom three teams in the table at the moment followed by Sunderland and Newcastle. Stoke City have been able to attain only two points from five fixtures with two draws and three losses. It is essential for the team to get back on track and get the much needed points in the early half of the tournament otherwise it could result in the formation of substantial problems such as relegation. 


Leicester City's journey so far has been excellent in their own way. They have made a solid start to the season with impressive performances and good results. They are the only team along with Manchester City that are yet to be defeated in this tournament. Claiming eleven points from five fixtures with three wins and two draws, they will be confident going into this game with a view to continue the good performance and move forward with the momentum that they have in order to gain maximum points and fulfill the objectives that they have set for this season.

Team News 

Bojan who is back from injury and fully fit after damaging his ligament is available for selection and he is likely to get his first start of the season in order to bring a change to the attack. Peter Crouch was on the bench in the defeat to Arsenal and he could be used on Saturday to freshen up the attack. Matty James (knee) is the only player that will not be available for Leicester, other than that they have a fully fit and functional squad to choose from with men like winger Riyad Mahrez who is in top form at the moment with four goals from five fixtures.
