So the Pakistan team have won their 2nd match of the tournament. They won by 129 runs. And are in the 4th position in the group table of pool B.
The Pakistani team had started to hit right from the start of the match and also made a sufficient target to win the match. They made to a total of 339 for the loss of 6 wickets. Ahmed Shehzad the opener scored a well 93 and was given a company in scoring runs by Hard Sohail the all rounder who score 70 runs. The other players like Sohaib Maqsood, captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi who scored some runs and gave a notable contribution for the team. The star for Pakistan in the last match hit a six on the last ball of the Pakistan innings. He was able to take only 2 wickets in these innings and conceded 54 runs with a maiden in his spell of 10 overs. Sohail Khan & Shahid Afridi were also successful in taking 2-2 wickets each. Over all there was a good performance by the Pakistani team in this match which relieved themselves and gave an inspiration to play well in the cup matches ahead.
The UAE team were successful in taking quick wicket of Nasir Jamshed but then it was the Pakistani team who didnt leave any chance to score. The UAE team were not impressive in the bowling of the match as they conceded a lot of extra runs which helped Pakistan to score. Guruge was the only bowler in UAE who did well in the bowling and took 4 important wickets. Rest of the bowlers were not sucessful in taking the wickets. In the batting it was Shaiman Anwar who made 62 runs & Khuram Khan who made 43 runs. These two lead the team to score till 210 runs. But they ended their innings by playing full 50 overs and having still 2 wickets in hand
The Man of the Match was Ahmed Shehzad for his notable contribution of 93 off 105 balls
