24-year-old German International who joined Vfl Wolfsburg at the January transfer window deadline day insists that Head Coach assured him to get playing time at Stamford Bridge before he decided to leave.
Schürrle joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen at the summer aahead of 2013-14 season failed to make an impact in the first team at Stamford Bridge.
"I have been an Chelsea fan ever scince I was a kid and I felt well there right until the last day.But the most important thing for me is playing Football and enjoying myself.This was no longer the case.Wolfsburg might be a smaller club when you look at reputation and I thought about it lpmg and hard.I could have stayed at Chelsea . Mourinho told me that I would get my chance.You have to make a decision l, though, and in the end I only wanted to play football again . Germany coach Joachim Low told me it would be a great move for me and that is why Wolfsburg is a step forward for me . Wolfsburg are a great team as well and can play for silverware in Bundesliga amd in Europe."Schürrle told Sports Bild.
