Australia vs Pakistan post match

The end of the 3rd quarter finals resulted in Australia winning the match by 6 wickets.

 
    The Australian team lost the toss and had to bowl first. They were very agressive in the bowling. Mitchell Starc was attacking from one side and Josh Hazelwood was attacking from the another side. The were impressive with their deadly bowling attack. They bowled out the Pakistan team at the score of 213. Their openers went and tried to achieve the score but were dismissed early.  The key player of Australian team Steve Smith came and made a very good 50 along with Shane Watson. The captain depaerted early without making a score. Finally it was Maxwell who ended of the innings very well. This resulted the Aussies to qualify for the semi finals against India.

      The Pakistan team very badly ruined in the batting by the Aussies bowling attack. They were sacked at regular intervals. The captain Misbah-ul-Haq & Haris Sohail tried to make a good partnership but it was not broken and also partnerships were broken at regular intervals. In the bowling Wahab Riaz was impressive with his spell. The catch dropped of Shane Watson by Rahat Ali in the bowling of Wahab Riaz was the turning point of the match. This match was lost by the Pakistan team but the team also lost 3 great legend from the team due to retirement i.e Shahid Afridi, Younis Khan & Misbah-ul-Haq.

Man of the match was Josh Hazelwood for his notable work in the bowling attack
