England won the toss  and elected to bat first. In this match New Zealand won by 8th wickets. Today the England innings was very bad. England will be stunned after the huge defeat. English innings had an bad start with their bats. Joe Root was only the batsman who tried to give a good total to their to the team. But he also cant succeed. The wickets were falling down continuously and the whole team was aside at score of 123 runs in 33.2 overs. England bowlers also has not done their job well.

New Zealand bowler Tim Southee had his day, as he entered into wicket list seven times by giving only 33 runs. Sending Ian Bell, Moeen Ali, James Taylor, Joss Buttler, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad and Steven Finn back to the pavilion. This team also had an good fielding attack. The target for New Zealand was easy to win the match. The Brendon Mccullum had played an awesome innings by scoring 77 runs in just 25 balls. New Zealand bowlers Tim Southee had done the wonderful job leading their side to a awesome victory. If Tim Southee had got one more wicket, he would had snatched the record from Glenn McGrath for the best bowling figures in the world cup.
