Steve Peter Devereux Smith represents Australian Cricket. He made his Test debut against Pakistan and ODI debut against West Indies. He is a right-hand batsman who can bowl a bit of right-arm leg break. He is a plays of the IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals. This summer he has risen to his best form in cricket. This Summer he has been in the form of his life. After the first Test against India this summer Captain Michael Clarke was ruled out from the remaining 3 Test matches and as a result the responsibility of captaining the Australian side in a crucial series before the World Cup was given to Steve Smith. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands and scored 4 match winning centuries with the top score of 192 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG). We can say that the responsibility of leading the Australian side into this crucial series against India brought the talent out of him and has made him a great cricketer. From the he has been playing his best cricket of his life.
His fielding has been unbelievably awesome. He had taken a stunner in one of the Test matches in the slips to dismiss Rohit Sharma. We can say that he is the best fielder in the Australian side. He has proved it by taking a stunner at covers in the first World Cup match against their arch rivals England. The team has great expectations from this young lad this World Cup
In World Cup 2015 he can make the middle order stronger with his batting and if he is in the he can smash the bowler all round the stadium. His fielding can stop the crucial boundaries at the begining at the covers an point region.
