Mohammed Shami The Unsung Hero Against Pakistan

Mohammed Shami Ahmed is the member of the World Cup squad of the Indian cricket team and now is their main pace bowler after the withdrawal of Ishant Sharma from the squad due to injury. Shami has been with the Indian cricket team for past 2 years and has all the experience. He ca bowl fast and reaches the mark of 140 km/h very easily. He proved his importance in the team by taking 4 wickets in just 9 overs and giving 35 runs and bowling 1 maiden over. But this superb bowling performance went unsung because of the great century of Virat and batting by Raina. Shami was the one to give a crucial breakthrough with the wicket of experienced and dangerous Yunous Khan. He also took the wicket of the Pakistani captain Misbah ul Haq. The fabulous smell of bowling went unsung. We need to appreciate Shami because he is the only bowler in the current Indian team who has played unstoppable cricket since India toured Australia for the crucial Test series and the Tri-series. He is currently the fittest bowler and player along with Virat. Playing continuously for 3 months and doing a great job like he did against Pakistan in the 1st World Cup match is unbelievable. No other bowler could have done this even if it would have been Ishant Sharma. Hats off to him for his sensational bowling. As we say good players do their work in silence and go away.
