Afghanistan team score a sum of 236 but was not enough for the Lankans. The bowling was very good as they took their first 3 wickets in the mandatory powerplay. Afghans made a score which included good knock by the batsmen at no.3 Shantazi. He score past 50 in the innings. He scored a knock which encouraged other batsmen to score around 20 and more. They were impressive in the bowling and hoping that they will do well in the upcoming games.
Srilankan team lost their 3 wickets in the powerplay it self. But then it was Jayawerdane who positively played and turned its score in to triple figure. But soon after he completed his 100 he was departed. In between Zadran bowled a ball which broke the bat of Jayawerdane in 2 piece. Then it was the game who turned the match and let Lankans win a amazing victory. So the Lankans won the match by 4 wickets.
