The Indian didnt forget anywhere to make a mark on the scorecard as well as the bowling side. They had a very good batting starting from Dhawan and ending till Mohammed Shami. Shikhar Dhawan's batting was just amazing. But on the other hand India lost Rohit Sharma very early. Virat Kohli came in then and made a score of 46 runs but was departed later. Ajinkya Rahane came in after him and scored a wonderful 79 of just 60 balls. He and Dhawan made a very good partnership. But after Rahane departed it was Suresh Raina who came in. He scored 6 runs off 5 balls but included a 4 in his score. Dhoni the finisher of India came in after he departed and score a very well score of 18 runs which included 3 concesutive boundaries. Then in the bowling Shami & Ashwin were impressive as well as the fielders were impressive. Team work resulted in the win of this memorable match.
The African started well with Amla & De Kock but couldnt make a mark. Amla made a score of 22 but it didnt help a lot. Then Faf Du Plessies came in also with ABD and batted well. But soon both of them departed. Faf with a 50+ score & AB D with score of 30. Miller & Duminy tried to make a score more than single and turn it into big ones. Then without any support the whole team collapsed. South African team had a good bowling in the last 10 overs. They had conceded only 8.0 runs per over in the last 10 overs. Dale Steyn was impressive with his amazing spell.
So it was an memorable match between these two teams. India won the match by making a win for first time against Africa in WC and also defending 4-0 loss in WC instead turning it to 1-3.
Man of the match of these game was Shikar Dhawan for his score of 137 runs.
