Steve Smith surpasssed the record of SIR DON BRADMAN of scoring highest in a test series against India.The record of SIR DON BRADMAN was made in test series in 1942-43.He have become a very successfull captain after this series
Virat Kohli was brilliant in his captaincy . He scored a sum of 692 with scoring 4 100s and 2 50s.He played remarkably well in the match.India approach after the sudden retiremnet of M.S.Dhoni from test was extremely well . Inidan team was lacking his presence somewhere or the other battting,keeping etc etc.
Murali Vijay and Ajinkya Rahane played extremely well along with Virat Kohli .Vijay surpassed the score of 450 and Rahane 1 short of 400. In bowling attack M.Shami and R.Ashwin played extremely well by taking wickets at crucial time. There was a great attack from the company too.Murali Vijay surpassed the record of Sehwag of hitting most runs as a opner against Australia in series.KL Rahul was xtremely brilliant in the 2nd test of his career he made a good ton to help India to score well.Suresh Raina who was included in the 4th test to make a comeback after 2 years . He was a economical in the bowling attack and on the feild but he good impress the captain,team,selectors, and fans as he coould not manage to score even a run in test match
Looking towards the Australian side all the players were playing extremely well. Chris Roger was fantastic by his play he score 6 consecutive 50s which was a positive point for the Aussies. David Warner was equally well . Shane Watson was a good in bowling attack and in batting some of the innings were really awesome . Joe Burns who made a debut in this series made a very good impact on his career. His batting in 2nd inning was just awesome he made 66 runs of 39 balls his inning was no less then a t20 match. Starc and Lyon were remarkable in the bowling attack inclulding Hazelwood . Ryan Harris was remarkable with the bat as well as the ball. We can say there was a all round performance by the Australians in this win
There are several records broken by many players. Hoping that they would be broken soon in the future.
Thus the end of the Border-Gavaskar trophy comes and the mighty Aussies manage to win the series 2-0.
Steve Smith is declared as the man of the match for his all round performance. The series is lost by India but there is not to worry because there is a upcoming tri-series to be held in Australia between India Australia and England. That will be quite intresting.
After the tragedy occured on 25th nov 2014 at Sydney ground, it was good to see all the Australian player playing well in the match by overcoming the past and bad memory .
