Leicester City vs Tottenham : Preview / Expected Line-Up / Predection

Leicester City play host to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday afternoon looking to record their third successful victory of the new premier league campaign. It is a different story for Spurs, however with Mauricio Pochettino's outfit still looking for their first win of the season and with doubts over the fitness of star striker Harry Kane.

Claudio Ranieri's side are one of just four teams- along with Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs - to have claimed maximum points so far. All eyes will be on Harry Kane who Pochettino admitted wasn't fit last weekend. The England international hasn't had much of a pre-season, but the club need their star man firing on all cylinders sooner than later.

The foxes, who brought in Swiss international Gokhan Inler in the run - up to this game, are on a run of four home victories in the league and have not won five on the bounce in the top flight since 1984. In addiction, Leicester have never opened a season in top division with three victories, but Tottenham manager Maurico Pochettino expects a tough encounter.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri:" We want to build our foundation and with a big foundation you can then build the first floor, second floor and everything." Inler is one of our foundations. I remember when nobody wanted to go to Naples. But after Maradona, everyone wants to go to Naples.
" If we start to build maybe in three or four years a lot of players will want to come to Leicester. Why not?"

Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino: "Always we talk about 10 games, after 10 games you need to be worried or happy maybe."People will speak about how we conceded a lot of goals last season. It wasn't our problem to score, it was conceding goals, we need to improve that this season.
"Yes, we have confidence we will bring in an offensive player but I can't give the name today."

TEAM NEWS

Barring late fitness issues, Ranieri is expected to name the same starting line up for the third game in succession.
Swiss International Inler is in the contention, but like many of the new arrivals to the club, he is likely to have to wait for his chance.
Despite being withdrawn against stroke last weekend, Kane will start for Spurs against the club where he has previously played on loan.
New signing Clinton Njie will feature in the squad providing that all the necessary paperwork regarding his work permit has been completed by Friday's midday deadline.

PREDICTION

Leicester has been great and Tottenham has been poor, but I think this has the marking of very close match. Spurs will be eager to get their first win of this season but a veteran manager like Ranieri knows a draw for his Foxes will still be a great result.Leicester City 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur.
