Bangladesh Cricket Team - Pre world cup

      Bangladesh is another team accompaning Pakistan & others in the World Cup 15. They are currently 8th in the ICC cricket team rankings. 

     The Bangladesh team are in Pool A with Australia,England,Srilanka,New Zealand, Afghanistan , & Scotland.They have their first match of the World Cup 15 against Afghanistan at Manuka Oval in Canbera on 17th Feb 2015. The Bangladesh team were qualified in the World Cup in the year 1999. It was the team co-hosted in the tournament alongside India & Srilanka. They shocked Pakistan in the last group match before making a creditable exit. Their efforts in the 2003 World Cup were not good enough but it bounced back in 2007 and achieved its victories against India & South Africa.Their Past performances:-

    They have Mashrafe Mortaza named as the captain of the Bangladesh team for the World Cup 2015, and Shakib-Al-Hasan as his deputy. The selectors have selected a good squad with great thinking and selecting the players by the various categories  experience,specialist bowlers,batsmen, all rounder & wicket keeper. Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahum , Mortaza along with Shakib-Al-Hasan form the core of the team with lots of experience.

Strength:- 
With Shakib-Al-Hasan they have other two left arm spinners also. They have a good scope for the WC. They have Shakib to play his 3rd World Cup. So  he has a good experience. They have Taijul,23 who has made a very good performance till now.

Weakness:-
Batting is the main weakness of the team. The top order always fals early making the team let down. Bangladesh lost 12 of their last 13 shocking ODI's and also against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup
