Newcastle United continue their pursuit for a first win that will help them rise from a rather dismal start to the season as they host a revived Chelsea.
Newcastle United are currently sitting second from the bottom in the table with only two points from six fixtures. In addition to that, they were knocked out of the league cup at the hands of Championship side Sheffield Wednesday. A win on Saturday might just be the thing that they need to kick-start their season.
Chelsea seem to have recovered after their woeful beginnings to the season. The road to recovery began as they defeated M.Tel Aviv 4-0 in the champions league which was followed by a controversial win against fierce rival Arsenal in the premier league and another win against Walsall in the league cup. Victory on Saturday will mean further progress in the right direction for Jose Mourinho's men.

Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic will return on Saturday after serving a three-match ban and will be in contention to start. Cheick Tiote and Papiss Cisse will miss out on Saturday as they continue to recover from their injuries.Diego Costa will be unavailable as he in the course of serving a three-match ban, following the FA's decision after his controversial confrontation with Arsenal defender Gabriel last week. Either Loic Remy or Radamel Falcao will deputise for Costa but it remains to be seen which one of the two will Mourinho choose. Willian picked up an injury against M.Tel Aviv and he is ready to return on Saturday.
