Kane : 'Looking forward. To Prove myself'

Tottenham ace Harry Kane is determined to get back to where he left last season after stamping his name into the English score-sheets in Euro 2016 qualifying on Saturday.

Kane came off as sub to score as England qualified for next year's tournament in France beating San Mario with 6 Goals.

The 22-Year-Old got 31 times past the goalkeeper's line last season despite having failed to score in his first four games for Spurs this season, Kane is confident about scoring.

"Obviously a lot has been said about me not scoring yet this season, but the confidence is still there," Kane said ahead of Tuesday's qualifier against Switzerland.

"I think you saw that in the finish. I am delighted to get on the scoresheet and hopefully I can get the ball rolling now and push on."

After coming on with half an hour to play in Serravalle, Kane did not take long to find the back of the net as he smartly lifted the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper for his second international goal.

And now the youngster, who enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in 2014-15, says the pressure on him has been lifted.

"It was a little bit [of a weight on my shoulders]. Obviously every striker wants to be scoring, so when you're not, when people are talking, you want to prove them wrong.

"When I came off the bench, I knew it was a good opportunity to get on the scoresheet.

"I am delighted with that, but the most important thing was that we won and now we are qualified."
