According to ESPNFC,a $47 million bid from Chelsea for talented 21-year-old defender John Stones,has been turned down by Everton.
In July, the club shunned a $40 million offer from Chelsea, as the Blues main aim is to make better backline after procuring just one point from six this league season which also includes a 3-0 loss at Manchester City on Sunday.
A 21-year-old defender, who has made four appearances for the English national team, scored one goal in 23 appearances for Everton in 2014-15.
It's hard to imagine that many teams rejecting such a massive bid for an ingenious defender with plenty of room to grow. But Everton manager Roberto Martinez seems keen on building the crew and fighting for a European spot rather than selling.
