Lahiru Thirimanne fined

       

   The Srilankan vice captain Lahiru Thirimanne was fined 30 percent of his match fee for showing dissent after getting out in the first innings of the 2nd Test match.
      
       According to the media the player had shown dissent to the umpire for being dismissed for a in swinging ball from Ishant Sharma leaning towards the keeper. Thirimane had breached the article 2.1.5 of the Code of Conduct which is related to the showing dissent to an umpire.
     
     Thirimanne admitted the offense and accepted the sanctions proposed by the ICC match referee Andy Pycrott
