Jeff Reine-Adelaide takes on Kevin de Bruyne
Arsene Wenger said, "I don't remember how I played at 17 but I didn't play like that," upon observing new signing Jeff Reine-Adelaide against Lyon.

There are least professional football players who play like Jeff at the age of 17.

Over past decade Arsenal's manager faced constant and discrete interpretation from the fans  to rely more on the young raw talents.

Yassin Fortune and Reine-Adelaide, the two young Frenchman arrived this summer both signed from Lens. As the later one is already on the skies.

The 17 year French youngster came through the ranks at Lens- the institute that also created players  such as Geoffrey Kondogbia and Raphael Varane- but never played for their first team.

He was an unused sub in their 3-1 Ligue 1 defeat by Metz n April, but the Arsenal Manager had seen enough to spend £1.75 million bringing him to England.

Comfortable playing up front, on either wing or behind the striker, Reine-Adelaide is in almost every way the archetypal Wenger signing.

Adelaide assisted the only goal in fixture against Wolfsburg

At young age the quality he possesses not many at his age do. He's quick, comfortable on the ball and confident in his ability.

Reine-Adelaide is a physical developed player and can be easily compared to the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott who came up from The Gunners Academy.

He represented his nation at under 16 and 17 level and made his Arsenal youth team debut earlier this month.

The Gunners won Barclay's Asia Trophy earlier this month and then the fans had to wait until the Emirates Cup to see him play for the first time.

He came on as a sub in the 6-0 win against Lyon and played more than an hour against Wolfsburg, setting up the only goal of the game.

Adelaide will play for U-21 but will train with Senior team

“Reine-Adelaide is something special you know,” Wenger told Arsenal Player. “He is a great talent and when he came on you could see that - 17 years old let’s not forget that. In fact I don't remember how I played at 17 but I didn't play like that!

In fact, the Arsene Wenger has been so impressed he's planning on allowing the young forward to train with first team squad.
