Galatasaray have completed the signing of Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski on a three-year deal.
The German International spent a crestfallen season following German World Cup success as he failed to establish himself in regular team at The Emirates before being loaned out to Inter where he managed just one goal in 19 appearances.
Lukas believes that he is on the perfect place to reestablish himself and regain his reputation and is looking forward to playing in the Champions League in front of some of Europe's most passionate supporters.
"Galatasaray also made proposals in the past year," Podolski said. "But this year there was more intense interest. My parents wanted me to come here.

"I've followed Galatasaray for a long time. I know there's a great atmosphere in the stadium.
"Galatasaray fans have given me so much attention and are excited about me. This is a big factor in my decision-making."
