There were many players who retired during the World Cup 2015 and after it from the ODI format of cricket. It was very sad about their retirement but it was their final decision for it no one could have changed it.
The players who retired are :-

3. Michael Clarke:-
The Australian former captain and a great allrounder have retired from the ODI format of the game and soon is going to retire from all the formats. He was very innovative player by his skills & aggressive captaincy.
The Australian team's keeper Brad Haddin also retired from all forms of cricket. He was a very good player behind the stumps & also was oldest player to play a World Cup surpassing Glenn McGrath.
5. Brendon Taylor :-
The young Zimbabwian wicket keeper retired from all forms of international cricket due to some reason or issues with the ZCB ( Zimbabwe cricket board ). He played his last match against India in Australia & New Zealand for the WC 15 and scored 137 runs in it.

The most consistent player in the Pakistan team also retired from all the formats of the cricket. He was among the highest run scorer without scoring a century in the ODI cricket. He was a very good captain for the side.
