Huston Dynamo vs Sporting KC : Preview

Still rivals Sporting KC and Huston Dynamo will meet for the first time this season despite conference changes at BBVA Compass stadium. It’s a rivalry born from three consecutive meetings between the clubs in the MLS Cup Playoffs from 2011-13 – when both clubs were in the Eastern Conference. Sporting have to recover from their four games undefeated run this weekend after 1-2 loss to LA Galaxy last Matchday where as Dynamos are baco to their venue after a hard fought draw at DC United. Houston has conceded just one goal in four home matches this season. Sporting KC and Houston are currently tied for fifth place in Western Conference standings with identical 2-2-3 records after seven matches so we can expect a tough game at BBVA Compass.

HEAD-TO-HEAD (20 meetings): Dynamo 7 wins, 25 goals … Sporting 5 wins, 22 goals … Ties 8

The home side have full squad available for the fixture except Boniek Garcia who is doubtful with Left Knee sprain. The visitors will be without center back Erik Palmer-Brown (international duty) on Saturday, while Nemeth (right hip bursitis) and Chance Myers (left Achilles) are doubtful.
