Arsenal Forward Olivier Giroud hopes that he can out source Chile Star and his team mate Alexis Sanchez on goal count and help The Emirates side to enhance up in the Top-four.The Chilean International had made impressive impact after arriving from Barcelona.
The Chile international made a flying start to the season but has scored just once in the Premier League in his last seven games, while, over the same period, Giroud has netted eight times.
Both the players are equaled at 13 goals each and The French man will be keen to finish forward than the Squirrel.
“I'm not going to say something silly because it'll be reported, but why not finish ahead of Alexis? We push each other, we're on 13 goals, and I would like to score some more to help the team achieve its objectives.”
Giroud had once semi-directly demanded starting role from Didier Deschamps for Les Blues last summer, but now maturing himself says he is happy to help his country any time and any where on the field.
“I have no demand to make. It's not me who picks the team. I get the impression I'm repeating myself, but it's the truth.What's important for me is to be called up and to contribute as soon as I can.
