Chennai Super Kings vs King's XI Punjab post match

Once again the match started with MS Dhoni winning the toss and electing to bat first.

The Super Kings were hitting right from the first ball of the match. Dwayne Smith was just charging up the bowlers. Brendon McCullum also was just impressing the team. Both the openers did very well in the opening 6 overs of the match which are very crucial. DwayneSmith lost his wicket by playing a elevated shot missing the ball. Brendon McCullum didn't stop from hitting runs. He played through a very good 66 of 44 balls. Suresh Raina who came in at 3 gave a good stand when McCullum was hitting but after the wicket of Brendon he started hitting boundaries. Ms Dhoni was hitting along with him. But due to mis judged run Raina was run out. Ms Dhoni continued hitting till the last ball with Ravindra Jadeja. In the match against King's XI Punjab the spinners did a crucial role. They took 5 wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin & Jadeja made a good comeback in the tournament from being very expensive.  In the bowling Ashish Nehra continued to his beauty. He took 2 wickets. In the feilding the team was as usual superb.  Overall there was a very good performance by all players in all the departments.

The King's XI were not impressive in the batting as well as the bowling. In the bowling they were smashed long way in the boundaries. The most impressive bowler of the team Sandeep Sharma also failed to impress in today's match. All the bowlers tried their best to bowl but they didn't bowl well. The batting lacked the space of the Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell. He was benched due to poor form. The batting line up collapsed very badly. Murali Vijay was on the crease for a long time in order to get a stand to score. But he didn't get any from any player. He did well role accordingly. The promising players like David Miller, Shaun Marsh,  George Bailey failed to impress in the match. It was a poor performance by the King's in this match.

The man of the match was Brendon McCullum for his 44 balls 66
