Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Daredevils : Post Match

     The match started with JP Duminy winning the toss for the Delhi Daredevils. They won the toss and elected to bat first. And the match ended with the Super Kings winning the match by 1 run.

  
    The Super Kings were right off the mark with Dwayne Smith aggressively hitting 3 boundaries in a row & followed by a boundary in the leg byes. They totalled 16 runs in the first over. In the next over they lost Brendon McCullum. Suresh Raina was the next man who came in but he was departed soon by Coulternile. Faf du Plessies & Smith player very well. But later Smith was dismissed and Jadeja came in to take his place. One after one everyone collapsed but captain cool played till the last over of the match and also totalled up a target of 151. Ashish Nehra was impressive in the bowling as he took 2 imp wickets in an over and ended with taking 3 wickets. His bowling was impressive as well the other bowlers did a good job by taking wickets and being economical.

     The Delhi bowlers were expensive in the start of the game but later it was very good come back after a poor start. They took early wickets of Raina & McCullum. They were smashed a bit later then they did very right by taking tricky wickets of Jadeja, Du Plessies & Smith. It was Nathan Coulternile who was a star bowler in the team. Albie Morkel was the star player of the match. The match went till the last ball of the match because they needed 6 off last ball and Albie was on strike. It was a very good efforts by the team. The captain as well the most expensive player Yuvraj went cheaply which became a bonus point for the Super Kings. Though the lost wickets cheaply it was Albie who played positively to play till the last ball of the match.
