The movement Americans is been waiting for has finnaly arrived, Orlando City FC and New York City Fc are both prepared to make their mark in their debut MLS season kicking off on Sunday at Citrus Bowl.
"Sunday evening will certainly be emotional night for every one involved with the club, including Myself. We've worked extremely hard for this day; and we're delighted to open our first MLS season in front of 62,000 fans. Our supporters have been fantastic since day one, and Sundays game will be another great opportunity To showcase the strong passion here in the 'Soccer Capital Of The South'"-Said Orlando City Head Coach Adrian Heath.
The focus for the match will be on designated players of each side as both Kaka and David Villa need to showcast theor experience and lead from front.
62000 people are expected to pack up the Cirtus bowl which would be one of the highest attendance in MLS history.
We haven't seen much experimentation this preseason from the coach Adrian Heath. The lions will be in Heaths customary 4-2-3-1 formation with Rochez followed by Kaka up top, roaring the attack. On the left, Brek Shea will be roaming forward inspiring crosses where as on the Right Rafael Roamos will be caution with predicted Villa and Taylor upfront. On the other side New York City coach Jason Kreis will be prefering a dimoand at midfield.New York shifted to 4-4-2 formation against Orlando in Charleston so its blur how City will line up.
"Its Pretty exiting. For me personally, it hit me on the trip here. The opening match for MLS was friday night and we get to kind of the cap off the weekend, so I'm excited for it.-NYCFC Midfielder Tommy McNamara.
