NEW YORK RED BULLS : TEAM PREVIEW

New York is going to be a divided city in 2015: Either Red or Blue

During extension side New York City FC make way in the league with peculiar sky blue kits, the New York Red Bulls will be bulging out for their red after disclosing their new kits on Tuesday.

The  NYRB were  for nearly two decades. Big names came into their squad and underperformed. Then Mike Petke came in and won the Supporter's shield. Then he got his team as runners up in MLS cup appearances.

Henry, Jamison Olave, Tim Cahill and Eric Alexander has left the Bulls and in comes new Boss Jesse Marsch. Sacha Kljestan and Felipe are the new edition as Marsch may be lining up 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 with Dax McCarty at the heart of the pitch and Sam on the right flank.

The Red Bulls will have their blood heated after their performance at MLS superdraft. New York secured the services of LA midfielder Leo Stolz.

The addition of Kljestan will help McCarty to control the middle of an already good attacking team. Their mental toughness could be their  weakness after losing legendary and coach Petke.

The Red Bulls will need to accommodate to life under Jesse Marsch. New York bluster abundant quality in its broiler into the postseason, which would be nice achievement for the new look team. But club's 1st season under Marsch will be about setting down foundation to achieve greater longstanding success, even if the results in a playoff absence for the first time since 2009.

After embracing the EC finals and coming to within one goal of reaching MLS cup last season, the RB break up the flight map and started from scratch.

Thierry Henry the star player bid adieu from professional soccer and the Designated player Tim Cahill left the club for Shanghai Shenhua by leaving New York with sizeable colossal gaps to fill.

Its seems safe to say now that New York Red Bulls have signed Canadian national player Karl Ouimette. Karl is a tough centre back and even is capable to fit himself at left back. The squad now boast five centre backs. The addition of 22 year old defender means New York city have 26 player on the roast.

The Red side of New York have signed  Manolo Sanchez  as a fourth round draft pick to an MLS contract as per the club announced.

23 year old Sanchez is a Clemson product which have been selected by New York with the 79th draft pick of MLS. The Philadelphia native spent three years at Clemson after assuring the transfer from Louisville. Sanchez scored three goals and jagged six assists, adding to his Clemson profession totals which include 10 goals and 15 assists through 65 appearances.

Red Bulls sporting director Ali Curtis said "Manolo came into camp and simply earned this. He has potential and he's shown that he is willing to work hard and learn what we're trying to do here."

"Manolo has impressed us from early on. He's a big, strong guy that runs well and has put himself in good positions. He has demonstrated that he's physically and mentally able to play the way we want to play." said Red Bulls head Coach Jesse Marsch.
