Scotland became the member of ICC in 1994. Due to connectivity linking with England . These gave them change to qualify in the 1999 World Cup . They have only Kyle Coetzer who have a good experience with the World Cup.

Strength:- The things about small teams - keeping in mind format- they are just making up numbers . Their best chance of getting noticed is to upset a good team currently & get in the history of books .
Weakness:-
With playing only two World Cup they have a less experience about it. They made up to the pool stage only in the World Cup but learned a lot from it . But playing the World Cup after 10 years and also skipping the 2011 & 2007 WC. They lack a lot of experience as they have to play against the best teams in the world. So there will be a chance of difficulty for the Scottish team.
