Financial problems at Parma has forced the fixture against Udinese on Sunday 22 February being posponded.
The Italian Club have not succeeded in paying wages to Players and Staff scince summer and new club owner Giampietro Manenti have failed in payment of minimum debts.With the cash level at the Stadio Ennio Tardini reportedly falling down this week as they were unable to fund the matchday and therefore requested Italian Football Association to postpone the meeting held in Parma.
A fedreation statement read:"The president has taken note of Parma's request that Parma Udinese, originally scheduled for February 22 ,take place exclusively behind closed doors . Decision:the rearrangement of the game to another date which will be decided by the Lega series A."
The Parma Captain Alessandro Lucarelli said:"We've had a meeting with the president (Menenti) and was emerged in the difficulty in bringing the money to Italy. He was reiterated that he will try to give us some gurantees ib the next 24 hours. But our patience has a limited. We are united group and we have given the club an ultimatum . The time is running out.We need action,not words."
