Afghanistan vs Scotland- preview

The 17th match is between  Afghanistan and Scotland of Pool A in ICC,s  main event. This match is at University Oval, Dunedin on 3:30 am.

Niether Scot's or Afghan are expected to make it to the quater-finals because of their poor performances.  Scotland have lost both their matches, England by 119 runs and New Zealand by 3 wickets, while Afghan lost to Bangladesh by 105 runs and Sri lanka by 4 wickets.

Scot's have not been competitive enough so far in this World Cup. Scotland lack experience to play in World Cup but contains capability. Scots carved their impression in bowling but can't show in batting. This team mainly depends on Machan, Mommsen, Kyle Coetzer and Mcleod. Scot's will be dependent on Lian Wardlaw and Josh Davey as they lead in bowling attack. The Wicket Keeper was seen in form behind the wicket before ICC's event and will be expected to carry it on.

On the other side Afghan played well against India in warm up match which has increased the confidence. But after 2 defeats Afghanistan will also be under pressure. This team has good bowling line up which can lead their side but has bit weak batting line up. Afghanistan is ready for their debut on big stage. The skipper of this team is experienced and a also a good player. So can expect something in WC. Samiullah Shenwari can play a key role in force to pace the score. Nawroz Mangal is one of the most experience batsman in top order.
