Zaheer Khan who has been India's stabd out left arm fast bowler and spearhead has announced retirement from international cricket.
The left arm fast paceman who has been the top fast bowler for last decade and a half is retiring from international cricket. Zaheer who has bowled his heat out for his country everytime he has stepped onto the field. He has always been a clever bowler and u can never expect wjat dilivery he is going to bowl every ball. He has been the captains first choice to go to whenever India needs a wicket and he has always done that.
He had been the leading wicket take in the 2011 ICC World Cup which India had won. He bowled superbly in the World Cup as well. He has been a part of many historic wins. One of them was scoring the memorable winning runs at the Lords ODI where India beat England by chasing down a huge total.
He has been the best bowler for India.
But the latter part of his career was filled with injuries which lead to his downfall. The injuries made him loose his pace and swing and also the seam movement which he used to generate while he was at his best.
He got a few chances after recovery but he could not make it up and the wickets did not come for him and again the imjury issues got his exceptional international career to an end.
He has toiled many great legends in the game. Superb batsmen like Graeme Smith, Kumar Sangakara, Mahela Jayawardene and Sanath Jayasuriya many time in his career.
He has take a total of 610 international wicket in his career and has got India to many fine victories with his bowling.
India's best left arm faceman will be missed. Congratulations to Zaheer Khan on a exceptional International career and a good wishes for his life after retirement.
