West Ham travel to Manchester this Saturday to be hosted by table toppers Manchester City, which will possibly be their toughest fixture of the season so far.
City have been literally faultless and in top form so far this season. They are yet to be defeated and have a 100% win record sitting comfortably at the top of the table with fifteen points.
But West Ham shouldn't be subdued by the thought of travelling to the Etihad taking into consideration that they have performed well against big teams such as Liverpool and Arsenal and as a result been able to defeat them.
Although their domestic campaign has been excellent, Manchester City experienced defeat at the hands of last year's champions league runners-up Juventus. They were beaten 2-1 by Juventus in their opening match of the champions league group stages and will be desperate to bounce back from the loss at the expense of West Ham.
West Ham have jumped to the fifth spot in the table after overcoming Newcastle United with a 2-0 win. Their recent form has not been very consistent, they overcame big teams such as Arsenal and Liverpool but failed to triumph over in-form Leicester City and Bournemouth.
