New era for Indian Cricket team

      

    The Indian team won the series against Srilanka 2-1 after a gap of 22 years. The team also won first test series since 2011. The team who lost their major test side due to retirement gain back confidence under the new captain Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli played a crucial role for the arrangements in the team. The team mentor and director Ravi Shastri as well played a crucial role in directing the players.

       The win in this series also helped India to move up 1 spot from their previous rankings. They also have played with the new squad it several changes. Ravichandran Ashwin,  Ishant Sharma,Amit Mishra all of them played very well in this series.

       Injuries didn't matter much to the team as they had players who took the right initiative. Shikhar Dhawan left Stuart Binny replaced him, Murali Vijay lefr Cheteshwar Pujara replaced him lastly Wriddiman Saha left and Naman Ojha replaced him. So there were proper replacement which helped the team.

        Ravichandran Ashwin & Ishant Sharma were impressive in the bowling for the team in taking wickets. Ashwin was also named as the man of the series. The leg spinner Amit Mishra also took great efforts in the bowling as well as the batting for the team. The team also got a new experienced player in the squad Naman Ojha which will be beneficial in future.
