Luke Shaw Suffers Double Fracture
On the eve of Champions League opener, Manchester United's left back suffered a heavy injury.
Manchester United were against PSV Eindhoven. He suffered a double fracture when his team lost to PSV Eindhoven 2-1.
Shaw, 20, will have an operation on his return to Manchester United.
He received Oxygen while being treated on the pitch after Hector Moreno's heavy tackle.
"It is awful, it was a very bad tackle. He had the oxygen mask on and he was crying in the dressing room," Louis Van Gaal said.
The left-back started this season well, played all matches for Manchester United and as well as England.
Aaron Ramsey had passed on through the same injury and it took him 9 months to recover.
Yet with nine months to go for Euro 16, Shaw suffers a broken tibia and fibula of the right leg.
Today Luke Shaw tweeted that:
Thank you everyone for your messages , words can't describe how gutted I am , my road to recovery starts now, I will come back stronger.

Mexican Centre-Back Hector Moreno escaped censure for the challenge and Louis Van Gaal was furious when the referee didn't take any action.
"When i say it is a penalty or a red card, you will say i am a bad loser. Every word i say is taken in the wrong way. It was in the 18 yard box and was heavy tackle with both the legs."
"I'm not a doctor so i cannot say, double fracture suggests out for atleast 4 to 6 months. Luke will miss the Group stages but we hope hat he recovers soon",The Dutchman said.
We'd like to send our best wishes to @LukeShaw23 following his injury while playing for #MUFC tonight. Come back stronger, Luke. #saintsfc
