The BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya expired on late sunday at the age of 75 in Kolkata. He was suffering from Cardiac arrest for which the treatment was going on.
Dalmiya was one of the renowned person in the cricket administration. He was also the former president of the ICC. He was known for his notable works.
In the year 1997 he was elected as the ICC president. He was then elected as the president of BCCI in the hear 2001. He was credited greatly for bringing funds in the functioning of the BCCI during the early stage of his works. He was selected as the president again after the ex president Srinivasan was found in IPL spot fixing scandal in the year 2013.
