Everton vs Manchester City - Preview / Build-Up / Expected Line-Up

   Venue:Goodison Park
   Date:23rd August
   Time:16:00 GMT

Everton will be hosting Manchester City this weekend and will be looking to cause the big boys a problem in order to continue their success having already gotten off to a good start this season. Manchester City have gotten off to an impressive start this season and they know that it is not going to be an easy three points for them this Sunday. They will need to put up a good overall performance. Everton on the other hand will have to put up a monumental effort to claim the much needed three points.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY ?

Everton manager Roberto Martinez: "Every time we play Man City we usually have great games - I expect Sunday to be no different.
"They are a very good side. We have seen a team that is fully refreshed, who have added faces but kept their title-winning core.
"The Southampton game has given us a feel-good factor and shown what we can do. The performance showed a level needed to win games."
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini: "No one in the squad is thinking about what will happen in May. We have only played two games, we played very well and it is important to continue doing that.
"It is important to have a gap between the big teams, but last year Chelsea had a gap of eight points to us and in January we were in the same position in the table.
"Football changes every week so we are not thinking about anything else but Everton. They have Lukaku in a good moment and we will have to play with a lot of intensity if we want to win there."
