Chelsea vs Crystal Palace - Preview / Team News / Predicted Line-Up

Venue: Stamford Bridge
Date: 29th August
Time: 15:00 GMT

The blues will be hosting Palace this Saturday in what seems to be a tough game for both sides. Chelsea haven't made the ideal start to this season, drawing with Swansea in their opening fixture and then losing 3-0 against City after which they finally got their first win against West Brom 3-2 last week. Crystal Palace on the other hand have started their campaign well winning 2 out of the 3 matches they have played so far and they will be looking to secure a fourth win this Saturday. It will be Mourinho's 100th Premier League home game as he looks to make it a memorable one.

Alan Pardew says "Chelsea is a always a difficult game, especially at home. They can counter-attack you at any time, and the concentration levels needed win there are really high.

"We performed almost to our maximum last year and still got beat, so we need to be at our
best to stand a chance of winning. We've won 3 out of 4. So we're in great shape going into the game".

Key Player

All eyes will be on Pedro this Saturday after his impressive debut against West Brom last weekend following his move from Barcelona and scoring against Pulis' side. Apart from that the former Barcelona man also assisted Diego Costa which helped in doubling Chelsea's lead. He celebrated after scoring by taking his boot off.

Team News

Pedro is expected to make his home debut after his impressive performance at Hawthorns.
Terry who got sent-off against Albion serves a match ban so he will most likely be replaced by Gary Cahill. The return of Oscar and Victor Moses seems to be uncertain.

Yannick Bolasie will most likely come back from leave following his father's death. Alex McCarthy will stay at goal despite Speroni's return and Mile Jedinak will be on the bench with a hamstring injury.
