Arda Turan could be sent out on loan


Josep Maria Bartomeu the Barcelona president declares that until January 2016 new signing Arda Turan could be sent out on loan.

After been found blameworthy by Fifa of irregularities in the movement of underaged players, Barca have been blocked from registering players until next year.

Nevertheless, the European champions have nonetheless signed two new players this summer - Aleix Vidal and Arda from Sevilla and Atletico Madrid respectively.

The latter's arrival at a cost of €34 million (£24m) - which could rise to €41m (£28.7m) - had been the subject of much debate as Barca had the option to send the player back to the Estadio Vicente Calderon pending the outcome of Saturday's presidential election.

After all, to retain the services of the Turkey international all four candidates have now agreed , Bartomeu is open to arranging a loan for the first half of the 2015-16 campaign to give him game time.

"This is a possibility," the Blaugrana supremo, who is commanding for a first full term after taking to reins from Sandro Rosell in January 2014, told RAC1, "but the final decision must be made by coach Luis Enrique and it must be a purely technical decision."

When pressed on where Barca would allow Arda to spend the first six months of next season, he replied: "It must be a team not playing in the Champions League.”

Bartomeu also confessed that while Arda could leave on loan, Vidal wants to stay at Camp Nou."He has already decided to train with the squad," the Catalan added.
