England were ahead in the series with 1-0. They were looking to get the win and win the series comprehensively.
1st Innings.
England came out to bat first. They lost early wickets and were not able to get a good partnership going. Except cook no one played well. There was a good innings by Root and Ali but they couldn't make it a big one. There were no big partnerships in the innings.

West Indies bowlers were good throughout. They were superb and did bowl good line and lengths. They did get some runs to be given away but were good in the bowling.

West Indies came out to bat. They would be looking to play well and may be get a lead. But England bowlers were just outstanding. The West Indies batsmen played bad shots and were not able to score easily. They did not get good partnerships. They just gifted their wickets away.

2nd Innings.
England came out to bat with a small lead of 68 runs. Thy would have been looking to give a big lead and win the match. But they were very bad at playing. They just collapsed as a batting unit. They lost their 5 wickets for just 39 runs. They were in a spot of bother. There were a few 30's but that did not help and they only posted a target of 191 to to the West Indies.

West Indies bowlers were just top class. They just took the England batting apart. They put immense pressure on them and did not allow them to score runs.

West Indies came out to chase down 191 but 2 & half days to go. They did loose wickets at the start but hen got a good partnership going. They won the match at the end with 5 wickets and leveled the series 1-1.

England bowlers did not have much to play with. They bowled well but couldn't stop them from winning.
