The match between Punjab & Sunrisers ended with the King's XI losing again. They lost with a very close margin just like in the game against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
The Sunrisers batted first. It was a good start from Warner & Dhawan which helped the score on the board to increase. Shikhar Dhawan departed after making only few runs. But on the other side the captain didn't make any wrong move by himself for the team. He made a quickfire 81 of just 52 balls which helped them to make a total of 185. Henriques, Eoin Morgan and the other batsmen scored some runs in less balls giving a score boost. In the bowling it was Moises Henriques to take 3 important wickets and Bipul Sharma to take 2. Today it was an all round performance by the team.
The King's XI Punjab resulted in losing their game again. They did a very good role in taking wickets at regular intervals but later the Sunrisers got a good partnership. They had to chase 185 runs in which they were able to score only 180 runs. David Miller was the star who scored a magnificent 89 of 44 balls. In this match the batting was fully dependent on Miller due to failure of the other. In the bowling Hendricks took 2 important wicket which lowered the score of the Sunrisers.
The man of the match was David Warner for his 81 of 52 balls.
