Sporting KC vs Chicago Fire: Preview

The game being played today against Sporting Kansas City and Chicago Fire is what could be a testing for both the sides.

Sporting KC have had a medium levelled campaign so far and the loss of star centre back Ike Opara would be hurting for any defence, which was undoubtedly seen as they conceded 4 goals in the past weekend's topsy turvy draw with the Houston Dynamo.

The side of the western country who won the MLS cup in 2013 have to be working very hard to qualify to playoffs this season and keep up with the hope for the MLS cup again this season in the Western Conference's competitive class of Western Conference.

The thing that could be stated without having a cent of doubt in it is that Dom Dwyer is in great need to get back to the entertaining form he possessed last season, for he could find the back of the net only twice so long. Entertaining turn to the form of Chicago was a good turn as they had a pretty bad start to the season if all the teams were to be compared in MLS cup, but winning past three of the games as well as the viewer's hearts. But the Kansas side are facing threat seeing the form of the opponents and comparing to that of thiers since they haven't celebrated a victory in their past three games.

The hardworking performance of the star men Shaun Maloney and Harry Shipp have led the Fire into the playoff spot at this early stage and now Frank Yallop's team must maintain their position in the eastern conference's top six for as long as possible.

Chicago haven’t won away at SKC since June 2012 in the MLS regular season.
