It was a high scoring match. 700 runs being scored and a superb performance by both the teams but Pakistan came out better on the day.

Pakistan came out to bat. They had given a superb start and a good foundation to the middle order. They Malik and Harris played superbly. They had a great partnership going and played sensibly. They did not take a lot of risk and played sensible cricket. They did take on the bowlers at the death and played exceptionally well.

Zimbabwe had a big total to chase and was looking a very tough one to chase it down. But they showed that they have the talent. Unfortunately they were just 41 runs short. They batted superbly. All the batsmen contributed and played some outstanding cricket.
