Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals : Report.

Mumbai Indians needed the win eagerly and they got it. The match was a close contest but they won in the end.

1st Innings

Mumbai batted first. Unlike the other matches till now they were given a superb start by the openers. They gave a fast start but then Parthiv got out. Simmons also got out due to a bad decision by the umpire. But Rohit played well. The surprise was from Ambati Rayudu who wasn't expected to be in form and then he came out and smashed the ball to all parts. He was just superb.

The pick of the batsmen for Mumbai was Ambati Rayudu who scored 53*(27) balls with 4 boundaries and 3 sixes to his name.

Rajasthan Royals did bowl well. They dis get wickets at regular intervals but gave away a lot of runs in the middle and end overs. They did not bowl good line and length and they were taken for runs. They need to improve their bowling. 

The pick of their bowlers was Dhaval Kulkarni with bowling figures of 3-0-26-2.

2nd Innings

Rajasthan came out to bat. Both the openers were in form. But after getting a life Rahane got out to a false shot. Shane Watson played well but he also got out. Sanju Samson played a gem of an innings. He was just superb. They played good and perfect shots. He did not play risky shots and all his shots were just perfect.
The pick of their batsmen was Sanju Samson who scored 76(46) balls with 7 boundaries and 3 sixes to his name.

Mumbai Indians bowlers did not start well. But in middle bowlers they were just superb. They got the wickets and also fielded well. 

The pick of their bowlers was Mitchell McClenaghan with bowling figures of 4-0-31-3.
