Delhi Daredevils vs Kings XI Punjab was a one sided contest. Delhi won the game easily and did not allow the Punjab team to be on top.

1st Innings.
Punjab came out to bat first. They were expected to play well but they failed to do so. Their openers failed to do so. They did not give a good start. They lost their 4 wickets very early. They did not get a good partnership going and lost wickets at continuous intervals. They need someone to step up and play a superb innings. They have a good batting line up but no one plays a good innings.
The pick of their batsmen was David Miller who scored 42(41) balls with 4 balls and 1 six to his name.

Delhi bowled superbly. The return of Zaheer Khan was seen clearly as their bowling has improved superbly. They were just superb. They did not allow them to play shota and kept them under pressure.
The pick of their bowlers was Nathan Coulternile with bowling figures of 4-0-20-4.

2nd Innings.
Delhi started well. Their openers looked in form and played superb shots. They were just superb. Both of them played their shots and to their ability. They did not allow the bowlers to put their pressure on them.
The pick of their batsmen was Shreyas Iyer. He scored 54(40) with 4 boundaries and 3 sixes to his name.

Punjab did not bowl well. They did not put a lot of pressure on the batsmen and allowed them to score easily. They need to improve their bowling.

The pick of the bowlers was Shardul Thakur with bowling figures of 3-0-38-1.
