Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: Report.


It was a superb match. It was low scoring but a superb contest. In the end Csk won the match to meet Mi in the Finals.
1st Innings.
Rcb cane out to bat. They did start a bit well but then lost wickets. They were under tremendous pressure and it looked as if there was drought if runs even with Gayle still batting. They were scoring very less. But then Gayle started some show but got out. Others tried their best but could take the score only to a mere 139 runs.
The pick of their batsmen was Chris Gayle who scored 41(43) balls with 2 boundaries and 3 sixes to his name.
Csk bowlers were just superb. They put tremendous pressure on the batsmen and did not leak runs. They got the occassional wickets. They were just superb.
The pick of their bowlers was Ashish Nehra with bowling figures of 4-0-28-3.
2nd Innings.
Csk had a small target but a difficult on the that pitch. They lost an early wicket but then got stable. They then kept losing wickets. They were under pressure but Dhoni and Hussey had other plans. They played sensibly and got the the mark.
The pick of the batsmen was Michael Hussey who scored 56(46) balls with 3 boundaries and 2 sixes to his name.
Rcb bowlers were good. They did bowl superbly but were let down in the field. They did get wickets at regular intervals.
The pick of their bowlers was Yuzvendra Chahal with bowling figures of 4-0-28-2.
