Strength :-
Suresh Raina's strength with the bat is coming at no.3 and hitting as much as runs in few balls which will benefit the team. He has made sure to score 400 runs in every IPL season and has never failed to achieve this achievement. He is a brilliant & strong hitter of the ball with the bat as well as brilliant fielder. His one more strength which is added to the list is his part time economical bowling.
Weakness:-
As far as the weakness of Suresh Raina is concerned it is visible to everyone that he faces a short ball problem but now during the World Cup he got a special training for how to tackle to short balls & also have improved a lot on it. In the IPL it seems that he don;'t have any short ball problem.
How will be his approach to the game ?
As far as the IPL is concerned Raina gives his 200% for the team. He has got magical hand in the fielding & is awesome at it. In the batting he is a savior in the CSK batting line up. He is given a good company from other players like Dwayne Smith, Brendon McCullum, Faf Du Plessies, MS Dhoni etc. Sometimes in the bowling he is economical & can take quick wickets. With his special appreances in the team he is also the vice captain of CSK team & also a lot of responsibility on his shoulder & is capable of it.
How will it benefit the team ?
With his match winning innings, aggressive fielding, economical bowling & cool mind set for the game it will affect a lot towards the game as well the CSK team.
