IPL was under the shadow of spot fixing with Rajasthan Royals last season. Their 2 players were under this scam. It almost broke the Rajasthan team and their bowler Sreesanth was under the scam. They were suspended from IPL and also other forms of cricket. It was a great disappointment that IPL players were caught in spot fixing scam. Even the CSK teams owner Srinivasan and his son in law were questioned and his son in law was declared that he was a part of the scam. Even Vindu Dara Singh was caught in the scam.
Just before the IPL again the shadows of spot fixing surrounded the Rajasthan Royals. One of the players of the RR team was approached before the start of IPL but this time it was great to see that the player did not accept the money. He told about this to his team staff and asked them to look up to the problem.
He was been praised for the amount of truth he showed and also that he shared it to the team management.
If he wouldn't have been truth than it might have been another scam of spot fixing. His truth may lead to the catching of the person and also saved him from getting his name in the spot fixing.
The players lost their career in cricket and also got banned after last year.
