Modric ruled out of the season


Santiago Bernaeau side Real Madrid have revealed that Luka Modric will have to miss the rest of the Season of Spanish First Division (La Liga) after the midfielder hitch off the areana as 30 minutes to spare on the clock against Malaga as Carlos Ancelotti's side have revealed that he had sprained a ligament in his right knee.

The Croatian Football Federation announced the day after the match that Modric will be missing put six weeks of action hence he won't play any part in La Liga which ends on 24th of May.Modric will be missed hardly at Madrid Derby which arrives after four days as Semi-Finals of UEFA Champions League.

However,Modric will be available for the Finals,Provided if Real Madrid makes it to Berlin to defend the European Title.

The former Tottenham playmaker will miss upcoming games against Celta (away), Almeria (home), Sevilla (away), Valencia (home), Espanyol (away) and Getafe (home).

The Spanish Giants will even be sweating on Bale after he was too forced out of the Fixture against Malanga only after Five Minutes into the game with a suspected muscle tear that could see him ruled out of the derby and the remainder of Madrid's bid to overturn their two-point deficit to Barcelona at the top of the table.
