The match between Punjab & Kolkata resulted in the Kolkata winnings the match by 4 wickets.
The Punjab did not get the good start from the openers. Wriddiman Saha came and scored good 4s & 6s. Glenn Maxwell the big show is not till the best of his season. He played some handful shots but couldn't make any big innings. George Bailey once proved to be a very good captain. He scored 60runs of 45 balls. David Miller was out in place of Thisara Perera but he couldn't improved. In the bowling Sandeep Sharma was impressive who took 4 wickets which turned the match for time being but ultimately the match became a win for the KKR team.
The KKR team did not leave any chance of losing the title in this match. They bowled them for 155-9 in 20 overs. Umesh Yadav took 3 important wickets, Andre Russel & Morne Morkel took 2 2 wickets each. In the batting they lost 5 wickets very early with the top order not doing well. But then it was Andre Russel who scored very good quickfire 66 runs of 36 balls which helped the KKR win the match. Suryakumar Yadav & Yusuf Pathan also did the very well contribution for the chase. It was the good match to watch for.
