The match has ended in a draw and it is the perfect result as both the teams played some extremely superb cricket for the last 5 days and the result is a very good for both the teams. No team deserved a loss. In the end a draw is a perfect result.

England batted first and started well. They might have lost their openers early but recovered well. They went on to post a big score of 399 in the first innings.

West Indies bowlers were at their best in the 1st innings. They bowled exceptionally well to get the England team under pressure and did not release it easily. They took wickets at regular intervals and did not allow England to score a lot of runs and be on top in the 1st innings.

But then it was Chanderpaul and Blackwood who stitched a superb partnership and got their team back into the game. Chanderpaul got out but Blackwood kept on playing. England had a lead of 104 runs with them and they needed to play well and score easily and post a big total. They again lost early wickets but then Gary Ballance, Joe Root, Ben Stokes & Jos Butler played well. They took the team total to 333 runs and posted a big target of 438 to the West Indies.
